Kuala Kubu Bharu is approximately 1 to 1.5 hours from Kuala Lumpur by car. You can take a taxi or a Grab ride to the venue. To save on costs, perhaps you can arrange to carpool with other participants.
You can catch the KTM Komuter train from KL Sentral. You will you want to get off at the Kuala Kubu Bharu railway station. The train from KL Sentral runs from 06:57 to 20:25 on weekdays. There are seven trains daily. Here is the weekday schedule for the train. And here's the weekend schedule.
There are also more trains available to the Kuala Kubu Bharu train station from the Sungai Buloh train station. There are 14 more trains (for a total of 21) from this station, from 06:48 to 23:08. You can get to the Sungai Buloh station via the the MRT train on the Putrajaya line.
Once you get off
Kuala Kubu Bharu station, you can take a taxi or Grab ride to the festival venue, which is about a 15-minute ride away.
Once you arrive at the KLIA airport or the KLIA2 airport in Kuala Lumpur, you can either:
• Catch the KLIA Ekspres train or a bus to KL Sentral, and then catch a KTM Komuter train to Kuala Kubu Bharu.
• Take a taxi directly to Kuala Kubu Bharu, or use the Grab app on your smartphone to do the same.

They both stop at Bandar Utama. From Bandar Utama, you can take the MRT or a taxi or Grab ride to the Sungai Buloh Station. From there, you can catch the KTM Komuter train to Kuala Kubu Bharu.
Other buses from Singapore might stop at the TBS terminal at Bandar Tasik Selatan. From there, you can catch the KTM Komuter to the KL Sentral Station, then switch to the line that takes you all the way to Kuala Kubu Bharu.
