how to get to Rimbun Dahan




by car

Directions from Kuala Lumpur: From Jalan Duta Toll Plaza, head towards Ipoh on the PLUS highway. Exit at Rawang South onto the Guthrie Corridor Expressway. After 2 toll plazas, turn off the Guthrie Corridor at Exit 3503. Follow signs to Kepong and Sungai Buloh. At the second traffic light, turn left (into Jalan Ciku). Rimbun Dahan is 500m on the right.

Rimbun Dahan is approximately 1 hour's drive from the centre of KL, and 20 minutes from Kepong, TTDI, Damansara Perdana, and Shah Alam, 30 minutes from Subang Jaya via the Guthrie Corridor Expressway.

by commmuter rail

You can catch the KTM Komuter train from KL Sentral. You will  you want to get off at the Sungai Buloh railway station. If you take the train from KL Sentral, the train runs from 6:46 am to 11:46 pm everyday, and there's a train every half-hour (or every 15 minutes on rush hours). Once you get off Sungai Buloh station, you can take a taxi to Rimbun Dahan.

by bus from KL

You can catch the Selangor Omnibus (bus 141 or 147 from Puduraya or bus 146 from Medan Pasar near Central Market) from KL.

If you take the 141 or 147, you will you want to get off at a traffic light intersection in Jalan Kuala Selangor where you can see a police station on your left and a BHPetrol gas station on your right. Just cross the road and walk a little along Jalan Ciku, and you will see Rimbun Dahan on your right.

If you take the 146, wait till the bus turns into Jalan Ciku at the aforementioned intersection, and wait till the bus passes the first bus stop before you ring the bell. The bus will stop at the Jalan Rumbia junction. Walk up a little along Jalan Ciku and you will see Rimbun Dahan on your left.

by plane

Public transportation from KLIA

Once you arrive at the KLIA airport in Kuala Lumpur, you can catch the KLIA Ekspres train to KL Sentral (and then catch a KTM Komuter Train to Sungai Buloh, and subsequently a taxi to Rimbun Dahan), or you can take an airport taxi directly to Rimbun Dahan. The taxi fare from the airport to Rimbun Dahan will cost RM105.90. In comparison, the KLIA Ekspres fare is RM35 and the KTM Komuter fare is RM2.10.

Public transportation from LCCT

Once you arrive at the LCCT airport, you can catch either the KLIA Transit train or the Skybus coach to KL Sentral (and then catch a KTM Komuter Train to Sungai Buloh, and subsequently a taxi to Rimbun Dahan), or you can take an airport taxi directly to Rimbun Dahan. The taxi fare from the airport to Rimbun Dahan will cost RM158.85. In comparison, the KLIA Transit fare is RM12.50, the Skybus  fare is RM9, and the KTM Komuter fare is RM2.10.

by bus from Singapore

If you're thinking about catching a bus from Singapore, here are two buses that  you can take:

+ Firstcoach
(which departs from either Novena Square or The Plaza)

+ Aeroline
(which departs from Harbour Front Center)

They both stop at Bandar Utama. From Bandar Utama, you can take a taxi to Rimbun Dahan.
